Arts Officer (Logan) – Regional Arts Services Network (RASN)
The Regional Arts Services Network (RASN) is an initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. The Regional Arts Services Network is a new approach to the delivery of statewide arts services, Access Community Services has been appointed as the Logan and Ipswich provider.
As the key local representative for Access, BEMAC and the Regional Arts Services Network, the Arts Officer (Logan) will play a pivotal role in providing a coordinated approach to arts delivery across Logan, liaising with the Arts Officer (Ipswich) and other BEMAC and ACSL staff.
This approach will be responsive to local priorities, build the capacity of local arts and cultural providers, develop and deliver a wide range of activities, facilitate economic development through new employment and training opportunities and establish a base platform of (ongoing) increased funding for the arts (and related activities) into the Logan LGA.
This is a part-time position working 20.20 hours per week for 12 months fixed-term contract; any extension will be subject to organisational review prior to the cessation date.
