BEMAC’s Echoes release is now a well established showcase of Australian world music talent from mainly Queensland based artists, many of which are world renowned. The Compilation is also a high quality source of music to many radio presenters around Australia looking to support airplay for multicultural artists, providing them with exposure to a wider audience. Volume IV features artists such as SK Simeon, Jesswar, Greshka, Matt Hsu’s Obscure Orchestra, MZAZA, Sue Ray, Sharon Brown plus many more.

This is the third year BEMAC has produced Echoes and this is the best one yet. Featuring artists Andrea Kirwin, HighLife, Mzaza, Don Kon Ten Shan, Efiq Zulfiqar, Francis Gilfedder and Roland Adeney, Rebecca Wright and Donald McKay, Greshka, Icey Clique, Twisted Whisker, Weathered, Susanna O’Leary, Ziggi Mabeye Diagne and Dubla, discover the diversity of music and depth of talent that Queensland has to offer.

BRISBANE MULTICULTURAL ARTS (BEMAC) IN COLLABORATION WITH THE QLD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (QUT) PRESENT:
An exquisitely produced cross cultural snapshot of Queensland’s most talented world, folk and traditional bands and artists, Brisbane Multicultural Arts (BEMAC) and the Qld University Of Technology (QUT) are proud to announce the national release of ‘Echoes’, a multimedia world music compilation.
Supported by the Australia Council for the Arts and Arts Queensland, the entire album was recorded under the engineering / production supervision of Gavin Carfoot, Lecturer in Music and Sound, Creative Industries Faculty at QUT, at Gasworks studio in Newstead.
The Echoes project has received generous support from APRA/AMCOS
