BEMAC presents Get Prep’d: GET TRAINING

09/08/2017 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

In 2017, BEMAC is delivering Get Prep’d – four FREE Professional Development Workshops aimed at providing local artists with opportunities to upskill in various areas of the creative arts industry. These workshops are part of BEMAC’s ongoing efforts to support and nurture multicultural artists residing in Queensland.

BEMAC understands it can be a struggle for artists and creatives to keep up with the ever-changing trends in legislation, technology, marketing tools and tactics that is required today as an independent artist. GET PREP’D has been designed to inform, upskill and assist artists in some of these important areas of arts business and provide them with the neccessary tools and techniques to be efficent, up-to-date and relieve the stress of this sometimes daunting part of the industry.

Workshop 3: GET TRAINING

Arts Facilitation

Covering topics such as Facilitator Techniques, Working with Diverse Communities and Engaging Youth, our third free workshop in the Get Prep’d Artist Development Program is designed to upskill artists in the area of arts facilitation. The skills and insights garnered in GET TRAINING will enable artists to confidently explore additional revenue building options in the form of arts facilitation. The workshop will have a strong focus on working with youth and diverse communities and will be facilitated by Sarah Roberts.
