BEMAC and Tenzin Choegyal Present World Music Café: Himalayan Film Festival featuring Short Films + Tibet2Timbuk2
25 Nov 2016 | Friday 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Rollicking Tibetan folk, afro-reggae guitar grooves and intricate Indian tabla….Sounds as if they were made for each other!
This year, BEMAC is thrilled to partner with The Himalayan Film Festival to co-present World Music Café in an evening of inspiring short films and a concert with the ever popular, Tibet2Timbuk2. Together, Tenzin Choegyal, Marcello Milani and Shen Flindell create a new joyful sound that transcends cultural boundaries.
Winners of the Short Film Competition of the Tibetan Film Festival in Dharamsala, India will be screened before the concert. Be inspired with The Half Bread, Sipen, The Sweet Hunger and Momo.
