BEMAC brings Hip-Hop/ Street & Afro dance classes to Logan

Young people of Logan have the opportunity to join multi-award winning dancer and teacher Sione Filianga (Academy of Brothers, District Studios) and Access’ own Naomi Musangi for weekly Hip-Hop/Street and Afro dance classes at the Multicultural Sports Club (MSC) in Kingston every Friday from 3:30pm.

Cost is $5 a class or FREE for MSC members.

This epic dance program delivered by BEMAC, in partnership with Access and Multicultural Sports Club, as part of our RASN focus, seeks to provide an opportunity for all young people from Logan to participate in affordable, professional dance lessons.

Delivered by a local professional dance instructor, in a safe, inclusive space, the weekly Hip-Hop/Street and Afro dance classes, from February 15 to March 22, offers participants the opportunity to gain insight into the world of dance, health, fitness and well-being, as well as the opportunity to meet and mingle with other young people who share a passion for dance.
