Featuring Artists Jungaji and Taitu’uga KITCH Wesche.
As part of BEMAC Live we are honoured to present JUNGAJI’s Exhibition: Junumundungal – (As one, joining together). Jungaji is a modern day song man who is one of only a small group of Australian First Nations fluent Gu gu Yalanji speakers and song man left in the world today. Such sacred ancient law is an integral responsibility for Jungaji in terms of documenting his peoples stories through visual art landscapes, theatre and his love of music and storytelling. He has performed in various bands around the world for three decades, forging a reputation based on integrity and developing a stellar reputation and following.
Taitu’uga KITCH Wesche is a Samoan High talking Chief, a strong cultural and creative songwriter, musician and performer. For nearly 2 decades, KITCH has performed in the music, arts and entertainment industry, across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Canada.
