BEMAC is collaborating with Ipswich City Council for the second annual Ipswich Creative Summit, featuring keynote speakers, round tables, workshops and an afterparty at Banshees Artspace & Bar.

This year the program is focused on opportunity. Opportunity for creatives in the region to come together, have conversations, further networks, and upskill. You can choose to engage with activities based on your creative interests and needs.

Join us and be inspired by Ipswich raised and internationally recognised director and performer Natano Fa’anana.

Attendees can choose from workshops on grants and marketing, contribute to a facilitated conversation on Public Art, develop new networks with peers and industry at roundtables, and speak to Ipswich Regional Art Development Fund (RADF) Committee members to pitch projects.

Awesome Afterparty

Banshees Bar & Artspace is opening early to welcome the participants from the Ipswich Creative Summit for some local fare. From 5:30pm you will be serenaded by the dulcet tones of Stan, the sweet duo Curricle, the raw and evocative Tania Balil and local cryptid Syph.
