Inspired by the sounds of greats like the Buena Vista Social Club, Afro Cuban All Stars and Santana, the bands use of Spanish song, flamenco guitar, double bass, congas, drum kit and brass, evokes the haunting and playful vibe of the Havana Bar and Café scene. Canta La Tumba has entertained audiences with their upbeat and danceable music at multicultural events such as; Woodford Folk Festival, FESTURI, Caloundra Music Festival, Nambour Moonlight Markets, Yandina Street festival, U tribe Festival, Maleny Music Festival, Ipswich Festival, WED and the Mary River Festival as well as staging shows at the Upfront Club and Sharks Entertainment Centre, Twin Waters resort, Queen St Mall (Qld Jazz), Blind Mans Bluff and Flame Tree Wineries, The Coffee House, Alfresco, Café Le Monde, Machu Picchu, Lock n Load, Pavilions, Woombye Hotel (Jazz sessions), Eclectea , The Retro Bar, Forty Five 51 and Finbars,
