Born in South Korea, Brandon is composer, educator, and jazz guitarist.
His work focuses on improvising up-tempo music incorporation with a loop equipment to bring swing, funky, and soul groovy solo performance including his own originals. His music is inspired by the beautiful nature of Australia and improvising it.
His technical and stage skills and have been honed through the Guitar Performance course at Seoul Jazz Academy and then the Naval Entertainment Unit and then he follwed this up with many years touring with Korea’s representative fusion rock band The SSAW, ‘Brovo My Life’ (album title).
More recently he has played at the Broadbeach Jazz festival, Toowoomba Jazz Festival, Zillmere Festival and performed solo for the Governor-General of Australia!
He has released his first solo album West End to New Farm and also records and releases his own videos, such as the one below.
