Eric and Chantal Turro Martinez are an international duo of Cuban dancers who have created new works for the Australian performing arts realm. With a passion for Cuban culture, they are recognised and endorsed by the Cuban Embassy in Australia as authentic ambassadors of the Cuban performing arts around the world.
Eric Turro Martinez is revered as the King of Cuban traditional dance, and is one of the greatest traditional dancers that Cuba has ever produced.
Chantal is the first Australian dancer to perform with one of the largest Cuban productions, The Bar at Buena Vista. She has been teaching ladies styling and street salsa in Australia for the past 17 years and teaching overseas with Eric since 2007.
Buena Vista TM International Cuban Dance & Entertainment Company imparts private lessons for professional and non-professional dancers focusing on main Cuban styles and techniques, and also specialise in tailoring events and performances to suit any occasion.
