Born in Barcelona into a family deeply entrenched in Catalan cultural heritage, Clara Domingo started her formal musical studies at age 5. Living in the south of Spain, Clara’s interests burgeoned in Spanish traditional music, especially flamenco. Clara recently settled in Australia where she has continued to develop a unique style that reflects an international sensibility firmly grounded within Spanish and Catalan traditions.
Clara has performed with flamenco companies Flamenco Fire and Jaleos Flamenco including concert appearances at Queensland Performing and Arts Centre, Brisbane City Hall, Woodford Folk Festival and Cygnet Folk Festival.
We love music and art. We believe it has the power to transform lives and communities. It brings people together, dissolves barriers and teleports us into distant lands by leading us into the very soul of culture.
