Born in Germany and raised in Queensland, 17-year-old Paulina is quickly showing her capability to write uniquely emotive songs, capturing the true essence of her song writing subjects in her purest performances, taking cues from luminaires Jorja Smith and Amy Shark.
Paulina is currently a finalist in the 2022 Queensland Music Awards in the Youth Category (Ages 10-17) for her 2021 single ‘Parasite’.
Previous releases have been widely embraced by Spotify, triple j, triple j Unearthed and Australian community radio. In the blogosphere, her tracks have been supported by the likes of The Music, The AU Review, Music Feeds, Livewire, AAA Backstage, Something You Said, Sounds of Oz, Good Call Live and as AIR’s Feature Artist of the Week. Her music videos have also seen support from MTV (AU).
From early on, Paulina has caught the attention of many industry professionals, and was awarded grants with Regional Arts Development Fund and multiple mentoring programs with Australian Independent Record Label Association.
In 2019, she performed live on ABC Radio Queensland, and she was a recipient of the 2019 Ipswich City Council’s Protege Masterclass Songwriting Development Program.
In 2020 she was a support act for Jack Botts at Studio 188, Ipswich and was featured in the Guardian & Tribute and ABC News.
Paulina’s 2021 began with performing at Hidden Lanes Festival, Brisbane and Waghorn to West, Ipswich as support act for FELIVAND. She then continued to write and produce many tracks, collaborated with other artists and developed her professional skills. With at least 4 singles planned to release in 2022, Paulina is one to look out for.
