Sharada has been performing vocal solo in the last three decades in many genres, light music, light classical and karnatic music.
Sharada had her initial music training in Carnatic music under Smt Suryakumari and advanced training from Smt Bharathy Indrakanti .
Sharada’s hinsdutani tutelage was under Pandit Krishnanand ji of Kirana gharana. Sharada has performed in Doordharshan (Indian TV Channel) and various platforms in India and Australia including Shruthi Adelaide, OzeAsia and Brisbane Music Circle.
Sharada gives themed concerts based on:
– Devotional songs
– Composer centric songs
– Raga based films songs (Hindi, Telugu, Tamil)
The concerts will be typically accompanied by Indian percussion instruments (mridangam, tabla) and violin.
Sharada is also one of the sought-after vocal music teachers in Brisbane.
