Sulagna Basu is a professional singer and accomplished Kathak dancer who is also a performer, choreographer and teacher. She has completed her Master’s degree in Hindustani vocal and Kathak Dance and was an examiner for Indian Music and Dance for Prayag Sangit Samiti, Allahabad, India.
She performs regularly at various community events and festivals and has contributed to number of CDs. She has been teaching music and dance for more than 20 years specialising in Indian classical music (Hindustani vocal), semi-classical, voice training, ghazals, bhajans, folk songs and Bengali songs. She also teaches Kathak dance, folk dances and choreographed pieces.
