Neo-gypsy band Greshka is a peculiar blend of Eastern European folk music, synthesisers and deliberately writing music which is silly. With an entire repertoire of through composed, hyper-energetic music, Greshka attack the concept of fixed genre with an onslaught of eclectic-electric um-pahs and digga-digga-da-digga-digga-das.
Past performances include the National Folk Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, Queensland Multicultural Festival, Brisbane Festival, PEAK festival, among others. Greshka has toured interstate several times and has been nominated for a Queensland Music Award.

“There’s an instant appreciation for the skill level of the tight group… The intensity in volume is matched by the high-pace physical antics they deliver on stage, dancing to every beat and intervening songs with quirky humour. It’s an hour of power that had everyone’s ears ringing.” Scenestr: http://scenestr.com.au/music/valtozash-greshka-new-globe-theatre-review
“…they’re bringing vivacity and energy to a musical form that can tend towards the moribund…they’re hitting the right notes”. Rave Magazine
