Harmony Amidst Destruction

BEMAC is proud to present Harmony Amidst Destruction, an evocative fusion of movement and music that brings a remarkable true story to the stage.
A powerful dance-theatre performance born from the ashes of the Beirut Port explosion, Harmony Amidst Destruction fuses breaking, live music, and raw emotion to explore resilience, loss, and rebirth.
Performed by Middle Eastern artists Roj and Ralph Kabalan, the work transforms pain into beauty. Revealing how art becomes a lifeline amid chaos.
Live music is performed by Greta Kelly, an immersive multi-instrumentalist whose violin, shah kaman (Persian spike-fiddle), and electronic sound move in real time with the dancers, deepening the emotional intensity of the work.
Through explosive movement and haunting soundscapes, the piece invites audiences on a deeply human journey of destruction and hope.
Harmony Amids Destruction will be opened with a special performance by Say True God?
