Part II: Sunny Luwe

Sunny Luwe makes optimistic tunes that sound like ‘soul, pop, sunshine!’ Sunny is a proud First Nations (Wayilwan) woman based on Kombumerri Country (GC) and in 2023 she released her debut album, Flowers in the Sky with a SOLD-OUT launch show and has opened for artists including ARIA winner Emily Wurramurra and Death by Denim. She has performed at BIGSOUND, First People’s First, St Kilda Festival, Creekfest, the 10th Gold Coast Music Awards and in February  sold out her live album recording show, where she was backed by an incredible 6-piece band. This year Sunny will release her second studio album, Feeling Good – carbon offset via Gondwana Rainforest Trust, and is a 3x finalist for the Queensland Music Awards.
