A taste of Palestine: The People & The Olive
02 Sep 2014 | Tuesday 6:30pm to 9:00pm
Join us for A Taste of Palestine: sample delightful Palestinian olive oil dipped in flatbread with za’atar; enjoy a traditional dabke dance by Palestinian local dance troupe ‘Al Zayton’ (‘The Olive’), followed by the screening of The People and The Olive.
The People and The Olive is an inspiring documentary about the daily joys and struggles of Palestinian fair trade farmers and the American ultra-marathoners who ran across the West Bank planting olive trees, bridging cultures along the way. Olive oil from Palestine and other products will be available for sale! All event features included in the ticket price.
