The Primitif Requests the Pleasure…Celebrating the birth of Brisbane Cool.
‘The Primitif Requests the Pleasure…’ celebrates Queens Street’s first espresso scene, a moment when jazz was top of the pops, in an installation of modernist decoration and glamorous 60s photography accompanied by Brisbane’s best young jazz players in an all new ‘Prim’ house-band. The event will host a reunion of wonderful Queensland personalities including Peter Hackworth, her favourite musicians and artists, friends and fans and close the program of the Brisbane International Jazz Festival.
