Jazz Lounge presents: Johnny Nicol & special guest Wilma Reading

Black History Month celebrates the work of Australia’s most acclaimed Indigenous Jazz musician Johnny Nicol and international star Wilma Reading.

Johnny Nicol presents his show ‘Reflections’ – From Bowen to Vegas, a journey of his musical career. His vast repertoire includes songs from all the great crooners such as Johnny Mathis, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra to name a few. If you like these singers – You will love Johnny Nicol.

Special guest, international jazz singer Wilma Reading, has numerous International career highlights include touring with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, performing on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, starring on London’s West End and featuring at New York’s Copacabana Night Club. In her seventies she has returned home to Cairns and now spends her time imparting her musical knowledge to the next generation.
