Odissi Dance & Music Company Workshop

Come and gain an insight into the sophisticated theory, history and philosophy underpinning all Indian classical arts. Facilitated by professional artists, Nirmal Jena and his sister Pratibha Jena Singh, participants will be introduced into the ancient world of Indian performing arts with dance and music demonstrations with comprehensive explanations and guided participation so that everyone can experience the depth and breadth of Odissi dance and music and enjoy the sense of physical and emotional fitness that comes with it.
Participants do not need to have a background in dance or any particular skills. Ages 8 and above are welcome.

Important information: Participants are encouraged to bring along a notepad and pen and wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
