May Planet will transport you to Brazilian rhythms and a potent concoction of klezmer.
5.00pm – 5.50pm: Yemanja
From all corners of the globe, stages of London, Brazil, Japan and Europe, Yemanja are back on home soil, but not for long as they soon head off on another tour of Brazil and Europe! Yemanja are Australian songbird, Anita Fernandes and Brazilian guitarist, Eddie Gazani. Together this charismatic multicultural songwriting duo dazzle and captivate their global audiences with their unique blend of Brazilian Jazz, samba, bossa nova and traditional rhythms, Mediterranean folk and gypsy music, with a hint of classical in the mix. Music from the heart to your soul!
6.10pm – 7.00pm: Greška
Loosen your suspenders, tighten your shoelaces and get ready to dance in ways never thought possible. Greška is in town and this high-energy, high-paced and high-volume music will certainly get the toes-a-tappin. After distilling the grooves of Eastern-European klezmer and brass bands from the Balkans, Greška mix in western-classical, metal and jazz to make a potent concoction of in-your-face multicultural ear-alcohol
