The Bridge Project
20 Mar 2013 | Wednesday
The Bridge Project was formed to showcase the musical compositions and arrangements of Ittai Shaked, a Jew living in Tel Aviv, Israel; Umit Ceyhan a Turkish Muslim by birth who is a refugee living in France and Andy Busuttil who is a Maltese immigrant and a Roman Catholic by birth.
These three players are colleagues in the beta testing department of Waves Audio, a software company based in Tel Aviv, Israel. They met through the beta testing forum and decided to get together and jointly compose, record and produce a CD which was called “Three Waves Under The Bridge”. The music reflects the respective backgrounds of each of these players and is a rich tapestry of music from the Middle East, Turkey, Malta and the richness of Australian transculturalism that in which Andy has been immersed.
