The QUBE Effect – Applications open 9 October!

We are now gearing up for the opening of the next round of The QUBE Effect 2021, with applications open Friday 9th October and closing 2nd November 2020, via the Brisbane City Council website.

If you’re an emerging artist, band or musical act with at least 50% of your act aged between 12 and 25 years, and at least 50% of your group a resident of the Brisbane City Council region, then you are eligible to apply! You’ll need to submit your original song and a great promotional pic of your musical act (more application details will be available on the Council website).

If you’re selected as a finalist for next year’s program, you’ll be mentored by some of the best in the biz, get to perform live at some huge events (COVID free restrictions pending of course) plus you’ll have the opportunity to develop your own first class music video, and a chance to win some pretty cool prizes! What are you waiting for!!!

The QUBE Effect 2020 Awards night was the perfect finish to a wonderful year for 24 musical acts. The event was a fantastic evening of local live music, and a celebration of the extraordinary talent we have right here in our Brissy backyard!
