BEMAC ILLUMINATE – New Opportunity for Visual Artists
Visual Artists invited to register their interest in exhibiting @ The Queensland Multicultural Centre as part of BEMAC: ILLUMINATE
As part of BEMAC’s commitment to supporting and creating opportunities for artists of culturally diverse backgrounds to showcase their work to a broader audience and facilitate opportunities for paid work, BEMAC is launching ILLUMINATE – an exciting opportunity for visual artists.
ILLUMINATE is an opportunity for artists of migrant and refugee background to professionally exhibit their work at the Queensland Multicultural Centre (QMC) in Kangaroo Point – one of Brisbane CBD’s premier events and exhibition venues – for an entire month, for free – with no commissions taken on sales!
For artists wanting to take it a step further, ILLUMINATE also offers artists the option of purchasing an Exhibition Launch Package which includes an official opening night!
The opportunity also includes:
- Marketing and PR Campaign support from BEMAC Marketing Team – including profile piece on BEMAC’s website & interview on Radio 4EB
- Commission-free sale of artwork with sale support provided by QMC team
- Opening night event – includes bar staff and duty manager (due to COVID restrictions, the opening night event is currently not available as part of this package)
