Ethno Roadshow ’16 EOI now open

BEMAC are currently seeking artists interested in participating in a 3-4 week collaboration and tour as part of our Ethno Roadshow 2016 program.

This programĀ brings together individual artists who are experts in their traditional musical practice to collaborate within a group of 5-6 similarly talented musicians, to form a ‘band’ that will travel across regional Queensland during the last two weeks of August, sharing their music and culture with local communities.

Artists must be willing to learn the music of other ‘band’ members, teach their own tunes and should have the capacity to delivery some type of cultural workshop program to community members, that may be suitable to ages ranging from primary school to senior citizens.

Please email your bio and workshop outline to ceo@bemac.org.au by 30th November, 2015.
