Incredible duo forms BEMAC’s new creative team
The year is off to a great start with the appointment of an exceptional duo to form BEMAC’s creative team. Responsible for producing and developing not only our artists, but our annual music program, we are thrilled to introduce to you Michelle Brown and Simon Mula.
Hot off the Radio 4ZZZ train, Michelle Brown takes up the role of Programme Coordinator. An experienced leader and creative thinker with 20 years’ experience in the media, arts and entertainment industries, Michelle will be responsible for developing and producing BEMAC’s annual music program.
Michelle brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience and a passion for working with creatives from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
To foster greater engagement and opportunities for our artists, Simon Mula has been appointed BEMAC’s Artist Development Coordinator. With demonstrated experience in developing and managing effective community, arts and cultural development projects including Culture Train and Pacific Tides Festival, Simon will focus on the professional development of our artists, diversifying and building their capacity and supporting their professional and creative growth with performance and employment opportunities.
We are ecstatic to welcome these exceptional arts practitioners to BEMAC.
