BEMAC’s 25th Birthday Party is finally here, and it is definitely a night not to be missed, with retrospective displays and a gathering of BEMAC board, staff and artists past and present. Please pre-purchase your ticket on-line as seats for the Linsey Pollack curated concert are strictly limited. The rest of March is also jam-packed, with The Bridge Project bringing onstage a musical collective started up by a Turkish Muslim, an Australian Christian and an Israeli Jew, which explores the sounds from Middle-East resulting in alluring compositions; a concert not to be missed. And if you think it couldn’t get any better, well, Colourfest, Australia’s Multicultural Film Festival, will be screened at the Queensland Multicultural Arts Centre’ Auditorium in a free event on Harmony Day as the first in our new monthly film series. March concludes with Persian New Year’s event, Nowruz Festival, so please come and join us!
