Voices Of Colour

Known for her profound and insightful pieces on political and social justice issues, Anisa took this passion and co-founded the poetry organisation “Voices of Colour” (V.O.C.) in 2016. In sharing her work she found a lack of people of colour within the poetry scene expressing their views. This V.O.C. was organised whereby monthly open mic nights specifically targeted artists of colour.

Anisa will run three workshop’s with young CALD people from Ipswich with each participant creating a new work or developing on an old one by the end of the workshop. Check out the voices of colour video here BEMAC Voices of Colour Mentoring
