Queensland Cultural Diversity Week is in full swing and BEMAC is thrilled to present a fusion of events that celebrate and honour the diversity of the society we live in; demonstrating across different art forms that we are more similar than we are different. And this is how we celebrate.


World Music Café brings the queen of afro-kreol Grace Barbé on stage next Friday 12 September. Following to the release of her debut album “Kreol Daughter” in 2009, shehas performed at major festivals including Womadelaide, WOMAD, Byron Bay Bluesfest and Woodford Folk Festival. Awarded “Best World Act” 5 years in a row in WA, Grace Barbé is ready to light up your world with a fusion of tropical rhythms.
