Taitu’uga kitch Wesche, a Samoan High Chief bestowed with the Taitu’uga title from his family and village of Sapunaoa Falealili Aiga Manusamoa, is a deeply rooted and innovative songwriter, musician, and performer. With over fifteen years of experience in the music, arts, and entertainment industry, KITCH has showcased his talents across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and Canada. Renowned as a live beatbox MC, he collaborates with international DJs as a guest MC and ghostwriter, captivating audiences worldwide. 

Beyond his musical endeavors, Taitu’uga is committed to nurturing the next generation of talent, working closely with Australian Indigenous and Polynesian youth in rural and regional areas of Queensland, empowering them through music and creativity. As a dedicated cultural facilitator, Taitu’uga fosters understanding and collaboration between Aboriginal communities and his own Samoan heritage. His children proudly embody the rich blend of Sapunaoa and Gunggari cultures, symbolizing unity and cultural exchange. 

In addition to his artistic pursuits, Taitu’uga co-directs the Tato Aiga organization, spearheading cultural creativity initiatives, including the inaugural Aiga Festival held at Southbank Brisbane in 2024. His notable performances include appearances at prestigious events such as the Two Seasons theatre show “Where We Meet,” TEDxBrisbane 2023, and festivals like Yonder and Ipswich Spark Festival. In 2024, he was honored with the World Music Awards. 

Taitu’uga’s accolades speak volumes of his talent and impact, including multiple APRA nominations, chart-topping hits, and recognition at the Queensland Music Awards. He has shared stages with renowned artists such as DJ Havana Brown, Timmy Trumpet, and BassNector, leaving an indelible mark on the global music scene.
