BEMAC is supporting 2 CaLD musicians to participate in Creative Fusions 2022.

Creative Fusions is an inspiring two-day cross-cultural music program for music-makers and singers of all levels aged 10 to 100! Designed to build bridges between cultures and communities, forge new creative pathways and showcase new sound fusions, participants will jam and learn to improvise, collaborate and perform with experienced Queensland-based teaching artists from diverse cultural and creative backgrounds.

Developed in partnership with Sounds Across Oceans (SAO) and led by SAO artistic director Dr Anthony Garcia the program aims to foster an ethos of cultural inclusion and authenticity and promote creative musical experimentation in a safe and supportive environment for people of all ages and backgrounds.
