Do you get nervous or anxious when speaking in public? Whether it’s presenting your work or delivering a speech, public speaking can be a daunting experience. Join us for a free two-hour workshop with performer Amer Thabet. Amer will draw on his experience and training to help you develop confidence in public speaking and pitching your ideas.
You’ll learn techniques and strategies to overcome nerves and speak with confidence. We’ll explore voice and breathing exercises to help you project your voice, maintain a steady pace, and speak clearly. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice your public speaking skills in a supportive environment, and receive feedback from a professional public speaking coach.
This workshop is designed especially for artists of all backgrounds and experience levels who want to improve their public speaking skills, including those for whom English is a second language. Whether you’re a visual artist, performer, or creative professional, this workshop will help you feel more confident and comfortable when presenting your work.
Join us for an interactive and engaging workshop that will leave you feeling empowered and ready to take on your next public speaking engagement with confidence!
This is the first in BEMAC’s free Professional Development workshop series for artists.
