Among them are some "balikbayan," individuals who have returned home after living, working, or studying abroad, sharing tales of their lives in Australia. The show delves into the themes of reconnecting with one's homeland and embracing a migrant lifestyle.

Reverberations chronicles artist Kuweni Dias Mendis’ journey of belonging as a migrant woman of colour and culture in Australia. This multisensory arts experience begins with screening the artist’s biographical film followed by live performance art with live music, movement, and mark-making.
