Dynamic circus performers, dancers, musicians and DJs come together in celebration of the richness of West African arts through a contemporary creative lens.

Six friends gather at the local "sari-sari," a typical Filipino convenience store where people not only shop for groceries but also catch up over local beer, instant coffee, and peanuts. Among them are some "balikbayan," individuals who have returned home after living, working, or studying abroad, sharing tales of their lives in Australia. The show delves into the themes of reconnecting with one's homeland and embracing a migrant lifestyle.

Reverberations chronicles artist Kuweni Dias Mendis’ journey of belonging as a migrant woman of colour and culture in Australia. This multisensory arts experience begins with screening the artist’s biographical film followed by live performance art with live music, movement, and mark-making. The audience will be invited to participate in the co-creating an ephemeral installation.

Some days life isn’t a rainbow and getting out of bed is a bad idea! In the search for courage squishy dinosaurs, witchy magic and colourful rocky horrors take over the Queensland Multicultural Centre in Mark du Potiers’ free exhibition and party with performances, music, dance, food and drinks.
